Can anyone work with you?
I am currently licensed in New York and Tennessee, and I hold teletherapy licenses in Colorado, Delaware, and Vermont. Due to state licensure laws, you must be physically located within one of these states at the time of our session. However, there are no geographic parameters for coaching or support groups. I work with individuals aged 18 and older.
How long are sessions?
Standard sessions are 50–55 minutes. We also have the option to book 90-minute intensives further into our journey together to allow for deeper clinical work.
Do you offer in person sessions?
Weave the Path Psychotherapy is primarily a virtual practice, utilizing a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform for maximum flexibility and privacy. For clients local to Nashville, I offer in-person sessions at The Healing Society (217 W Maplewood Ln). Once a therapeutic relationship is established, we can also explore "walk and talk" therapy in the Nashville area.
What are your fees?
As a clinician licensed in multiple states, I utilize a regional fee structure to ensure my services remain accessible and aligned with the local market standards of the communities I serve. My standard clinical fee of $250 applies to residents of New York and Florida, while a regional adjusted fee of $185–$200 is available for clients in Tennessee, Colorado, Delaware, and Vermont.
To further my commitment to health equity, I reserve a limited number of reduced-fee spots for those in need. If you are in a position to pay the full fee, I invite you to do so; this directly sustains my ability to offer lower-cost care to others in our community. Supporting a mission-driven, accessible practice creates a powerful collective benefit, and I am grateful to those who help make this model possible.
Do you accept insurance?
I have chosen to remain out-of-network to ensure the highest standard of personalized care. My background as a Chief Clinical Officer taught me that insurance systems often prioritize bottom lines over patient outcomes, requiring invasive diagnoses and micromanaging treatment plans. I believe your therapy should be guided by your specific goals, not the insurance company’s profit margins.
By working outside the traditional system, I can protect your privacy and maintain the freedom to provide high-impact, flexible therapy. To make this financially sustainable, I partner with Thrizer to help you utilize your out-of-network benefits seamlessly.
What is a Good Faith Estimate?
Under the No Surprises Act, clients who are uninsured or choosing not to use insurance have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of expected charges for services. You may request a Good Faith Estimate before scheduling services or at any time during treatment. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you have the right to dispute the bill.
What are out-of-network (OON) benefits and how do they work?
Out-of-network benefits allow you to submit a superbill to your insurance for partial reimbursement when seeing providers outside your network. I provide a detailed superbill monthly for your submission. Contact your insurance company to learn about your coverage and potential reimbursement. In some cases, this significantly reduces the cost of care for clients. I also work with Thrizer, which for some clients, can eliminate the need to wait for reimbursement and streamline cost estimates.
What is Thrizer and how does it work?
Thrizer is a secure service that handles your out-of-network (OON) insurance claims so you don’t have to submit paperwork or wait months for a check.
- Streamlined Costs: Once your deductible is met, you typically only pay your co-insurance (your portion) at the time of the session.
- Instant Savings: On average, clients save about 70% upfront.
